About Team Ray

Once upon a time, before the current team members were born, a man named Steve Killpack gathered together a ragtag group of people who wanted to play water polo. These people included young and old. Greg Colby (girls swim coach) and John Demeyer (pool manager) were two of the charter members. Jeff Clark, Team Ray’s coach, played on Ray’s state champion teams in the mid 1990s. 

Steve Killpack took a ragtag operation and turned it into a Team Ray powerhouse that impressed their opponents and won a state title. Sportsmanship was a cornerstone of their success.

Dedication, determination, and desire all signify the essence of the meaning of Team Ray.
